Privacy policy

Petite Habits is made by BitFuzed (“we”). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your habits live on your phone, backup is optional, we show no ads, we don’t sell or share your data, and the anonymous usage statistics can be switched off.

What stays on your phone

Your habits, check-ins, streaks, todos, weather notes, reminders and settings are stored in a database on your device. You can use every free feature without creating an account, and without a connection.

If you sign in (optional)

You can sign in with Google or with an email and password so your habits sync across your phones. We use Firebase Authentication, a Google service, to manage the account. It stores your email address, a user ID and, for Google sign-in, your Google account’s basic profile.

While you are signed in, your habits, check-ins, todos and day notes (the weather and the optional line you write about the day) are copied to Cloud Firestore, a Google Cloud database, under your user ID. Security rules allow only your signed-in account to read or write them. We don’t read your entries except when you ask us to help with a problem.

Anonymous usage and crash reports

To find bugs and understand which features help, the app uses two Google services:

• Firebase Analytics records how the app is used: for example that a habit was created or completed, which screen was opened, whether the timer was used, and whether someone started a Petite+ trial. Events carry coarse details only (such as “a timed habit” or “the yearly plan”), plus the device model, Android version, app version, approximate country and an app-instance identifier.
• Firebase Crashlytics reports crashes and errors with technical details such as the device model, Android version, app version, an installation identifier and the error itself.

Neither ever includes the names or contents of your habits, todos, weather notes, your name or your email address. The advertising ID is not collected and nothing is used for advertising. You can turn both off at any time in Settings → About → Share anonymous usage.

Purchases

Petite+ subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The app asks Google Play whether you have an active subscription each time it starts.

What we don’t do

• No ads, and no advertising identifier.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.
• We don’t sell, rent or share your data with anyone for marketing.

Notifications and widgets

Reminders and the Sunday recap are scheduled on your phone. Home-screen widgets read a small summary of today from the app on your device.

Keeping and deleting your data

Data on your phone stays until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Backed-up data stays while your account exists. To delete your account and everything backed up with it, open the app and go to Settings → Delete account, or see how to delete your account.

Children

Petite Habits isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Write to us and we’ll help.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
