What is Petite Habits?
Petite Habits is a cozy, guilt-free habit tracker for Android — small daily habits, gentle streaks, and Pip, a little fawn who cheers for you and never guilts you. It tracks simple ticks, amounts like "8 glasses" and timed habits, keeps a small todo list, and shows calm insights about your weeks.
Does missing a day break my streak?
No, not unless you want it to. An unfinished today never breaks a streak while it is still today. You can skip a day and the streak stays safe, rest days neither build nor break anything, and if you forgot to tick something yesterday you can fill it in from the calendar.
Who is Pip?
Pip is a small fawn who lives in a painted meadow at the top of your Today screen. Pip hops when you finish a habit, lies in the sun on days with nothing due, and sleeps from 10pm to 5am. Pip never needs feeding, has no meters or shop, and never says anything that could make you feel guilty. You can rename Pip or turn Pip off.
What is free, and what does Petite+ cost?
Free forever: 3 active habits, streaks, reminders, the todo list, backup and sync, and core insights. Petite+ adds unlimited habits, the full insights, the interactive home-screen widget and garden colours for $12.99 a year (with a 14-day free trial) or $1.99 a month, billed through Google Play. Habits you made while subscribed are never hidden if you stop paying.
Can it help me quit a bad habit?
Yes. "Break a habit" counts your days free since the last slip and keeps your best run. Slips are logged gently and can be undone, and a habit you are letting go of is never "due", so it never counts against your day.
Does it work offline? Do I need an account?
It works completely offline and no account is needed. If you want your habits on more than one phone, you can sign in with Google or email for backup and sync, which is free for everyone.
Is Petite Habits on iPhone?
Not yet. Petite Habits is Android-first. An iPhone version with widgets is planned.
How is Petite Habits different from Finch?
Both are gentle. Finch is a self-care pet game: you raise a bird, earn currency and dress it up. Petite Habits is a habit tracker first, with a companion who asks nothing of you: no feeding, no currency, no shop. Check-ins take a couple of seconds, and Petite+ is $12.99 a year.
What kinds of habits can I track?
A simple tick ("stretch"), an amount that counts up with each tap ("8 glasses"), or minutes ("read 10 min") with a calm full-screen timer. Habits can repeat every day, on certain weekdays, or a number of times a week, and sit in the morning, afternoon, evening or anytime.
How do "N times a week" habits count streaks?
They count whole weeks that met the target. The current week counts as soon as it is met, and the week you created the habit only asks for the days that were left in it.
Is there a home-screen widget?
Yes, on Android. The free Progress widget shows how many habits are done today. The Today widget in Petite+ lets you tick habits without opening the app.
Will the app keep reminding me?
Only if you ask it to. Reminders are optional and set per habit. The Sunday recap is one gentle notification a week that opens your insights, and you can turn it off in Settings.
What happens to my habits if I cancel Petite+?
Nothing is hidden or deleted. You keep every habit you made; you just can't add more than 3 active habits on the free plan.
Where is my data stored?
On your phone. If you sign in, your habits, check-ins, todos and weather notes are also backed up to your private account so they can sync to your other phones. See the privacy policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete account. That removes your backed-up data and then the account itself. You can also email us.
